AAL is seeking nominations from members of the astronomy community and other suitably qualified individuals keen to serve in one of several capacities.

AAL is looking to appoint:

• Four members of the AAL Science Advisory Committee (ASAC)
• Four members of the AAL Project Oversight Committee (APOC)
• Six members of the AAL Industry Engagement Advisory Committee (IEAC) – new committee
• Two members of the AAL-eROSITA_DE Management Committee
• Three members of the AAL Astronomy Supercomputer Time Allocation Committee (ASTAC)
• Two members of the AAT Time Allocation Committee (ATAC)
• A Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) Science Lead
• A member of the Gravitational Wave Data Centre (GWDC) Advisory Panel
• A Science Lead for Australia’s engagement with the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST)

• Professional development: Hone your current skills and develop new skills by serving on a committee or in a role that reports directly to the executive management and Board of AAL – a great opportunity to build your resume.
• Travel reimbursement: Where travel is required, AAL will reimburse you for attendance at national and international meetings, workshops or other events related to your position. AAL will also support you to attend and participate virtually where possible – the choice is yours.
