Prof Lisa Kewley elected to US National Academy of Sciences

AAL would like to congratulate Professor Lisa Kewley from the Australian National University (ANU), on her election to the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS). Lisa was formally a Director on the AAL Board and is currently Director of the ASTRO 3D Centre of Excellence.

Lisa is one of 120 new members elected to NAS, in a group that includes a record number of women (59 in total). Lisa is a research leader in her field and her election to NAS is “in recognition of … distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.”
