In anticipation of the Period 114 proposal deadline on 21 March 2024, AAL is organising an on-line ESO proposal writing workshop on Thursday 7 March 2024 from 12:15-1:30pm AEDT (9:15-10:30am AWST). Topics to be covered include:

• The Observing Programmes Committee Process
• ESO Large Programmes
• Summary of current and imminent ESO instrumentation
• The Dual-Anonymous Proposal & Distributed Peer Review processes
